The Disk Cleaner requires you close out of your web browsers before cleaning their files. If you get an error saying Chrome is running but Chrome is not open, click on the Chrome icon in the system tray (bottom right-hand corner) and uncheck "run in the background."
My Faster PC works on most Windows OS platforms, including Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista, and Windows XP.
If My Faster PC does not run on your system or you encounter problems, please install the latest version of our software. If you are already running this version and are having problems, contact Customer Support.
Download and install My Faster PC. Click the "Download" button to download and click "Run" button to install.
If you see this message you are missing the MSCOMCTL.OCX file. You need to download, install, and register this file.
Step 1. Download MSCOMCTL.OCX (Click Save and select your desktop)
Step 2. Move MSCOMCTL.OCX from your desktop to C:\WINDOWS\system32\
Step 3. Register MSCOMCTL.OCX.
Click Start > Run > and type REGSVR32 MSCOMCTL.OCX
If you see this message you are missing the STDOLE32.TLB file. You need to download, install, and register this file.
Step 1. Download STDOLE32.TLB (Click Save and select your desktop)
Step 2. Unzip stdole32.zip on your desktop.
Step 3. Move STDOLE32.TLB from your desktop to C:\WINDOWS\system32\ Warning: Do not replace STDOLE32.TLB if you already have that file in your system.
Step 4. Register STDOLE32.TLB.
Click Start > Run > and type REGSVR32 STDOLE32.TLB

Step 1 - Scanning: To use My Faster PC, just download our free trial, install the software, and it will start to run automatically. You can click "Cancel" to stop the scan and click "Scan Registry" to start a new scan.
Step 2 - Make Repairs: Once the scan is finished, click "Fix Errors" to repair any issues found.
Step 3 - Additional Options: You may also want to click on "About Your System" and "Check for Updates" to ensure your copy of Windows is up to date. If you upgrade to the full version, you can also use additional cleaning tools in "Disk Cleanup."

Open My Faster PC, click on Settings, and then click the "Uninstall My Faster PC" link.
On Windows 8, 7 or Vista:
Click Start » Control Panel » Programs » Uninstall a program » My Faster PC
On Windows XP:
Click Start » Control Panel » Add/Remove Programs » My Faster PC
On Older Systems:
Click Start » Settings » Control Panel » Add/Remove Programs » My Faster PC
